About Insider Journeys

Insider Journeys are group trips led by expert guides, exclusive to Indagare Members and these trips are often led by Indagare founder Melissa Biggs Bradley. These trips fill up quickly, with priority going to alumni of these trips. In fact, during my research I noticed at least one trip was already sold out.

Check out this video from Indagare about their Insider Journeys: https://vimeo.com/731814101.

It’s also worth noting, these trips are not cheap. Many of these trips cost well over $10,000, not including the cost of transportation. With that being said, these are luxury trips, and provide exclusive opportunities for immersion and behind-the-scenes access to unique cultural and historical sites you might not ever have the opportunity to see otherwise.

If these trips are within your price range, I would think of this type of bespoke travel as an investment, not an expense as the trips Indagare arranges are truly unique and groundbreaking. Their mission supports a purpose-driven approach to travel, offering memorable and unique immersion into cultures.

Why I follow Indagare

Indagare is a company I’ve kept up with for a while. I keep up with their company because I believe they truly live and breathe their mission to promote travel as a world-altering opportunity, recognizing the power of journey to shape us. While my travel niche and blog is decidedly anti-bucket list travel, I feel Indagare’s mission closely aligns with how I believe we should all treat travel: as a means to discover yourself and change the world.

I have yet to be a member of Indagare, because frankly I cannot afford it. Though I am not a paying member of Indagare, the company offers travel information and materials to non-members through their website, social media, and my favorite: the Passport to Everywhere with Melissa Biggs Bradley podcast, a weekly favorite of mine. Though some of their content is behind a paywall, their website and newsletter does offer valuable travel information.
